Crete High football fans who can’t be at Simon Field for the quarterfinal-round state playoff game against Aurora Friday night can still get in on the action via their computer screens.
The Crete News will be providing live commentary via cretenews.net and CoverItLive. Web visitors can click on the banner on our home page to be taken to a window in which real-time commentary and a scoreboard will be displayed.
In addition, scores from other playoff games around the state will also appear from fans reporting in on Twitter.
Coverage will begin Friday from the Simon Field press box around 6 p.m. Central time and continue through the end of the game and afterward as matchups for next week’s semifinal round games begin to come into focus.
